Victor Avina

FALCON VICE PRESIDENT

Victor Avina serves as Falcon Strategies’ senior advisor and brings a strategic perspective to the firm, focused at the intersection of government, policy and business.

As a senior land use advisor to two county supervisors at the County of San Diego from 2015 to 2020, Avina advised on issues dealing with land-use, transportation and energy infrastructure, storm water, the environment, and projects and issues on the California Coastal Commission. He also coordinated intergovernmental relations with regional government agencies such as the Port of San Diego, where he helped secure $25 million in County funds for public infrastructure for the Chula Vista Bayfront project. Avina is proud to assist with the strategy and advocacy for the $300 million in federal infrastructure funds awarded for the Tijuana River Valley sewage issue along the U.S. - Mexico border.

Victor earned his Masters in Business Administration in 2020 from San Diego State University’s Fowler College of Business and resides in the South Bay with his wife Alexis and their young son.
